Krista J. Wise McKale was born on July 15, 1962 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Sandra V. (Klein) Richardson and Loren W. Wise. She passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016 in Vancouver, Washington with family and friends by her side. Krista is survived by her two daughters Tisa and Marisa McKale, her mother Sandi Richardson, her sisters, Melinda St. Pierre and Angie Van Riper, and her brother Robb Richardson.
In her early adult life Krista’s career in retail management led her many places from Tacoma, Washington to San Jose, California. After the birth of her daughters, Krista’s strong love of family brought her back to the Pacific Northwest where she settled in Vancouver, Washington and managed the #1 Flea Market in Portland for several years.
Krista was a passionate person who put the needs of family and friends before her own. Her love of people and fun will be greatly missed. A remembrance gathering for Krista will be held at Russellville Grange Hall in Portland on Monday, April 11 at 4:00 pm.
