Nada Louise Wirrick Hood
October 5, 1934 - August 26, 2017
After a seven year battle with Alzheimers, Nada passed away peacefully on August 26th with her daughter by her side. Nada is survived by her daughter, Karen and husband Scott, son, Mark and wife SueAnn, granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Mark, grandson, Christopher, and her beloved great grandson, Coltyn.
Nada is also survived by her granchildren, great-grandchildren and bonus family whom she loved and thought of as her own, as well as her best friend of 75 years, Barbara Redwing.
Nada and her family were very blessed to have Tabby Bizgan and family care for her.
She was born and raised in Vancouver, WA and retired from the Vancouver School District. Her greatest joy was spending time and laughing with her family. She loved traveling, the Oregon coast, and animals.
A private family service will take place September 16th followed by a celebration of life at the home of her granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Research Foundation or the Southwest Washington Humane Society.
