My Stepfather was married to my mother, Audrey Marie Hemphill, until her death in 2007, and he gave her the best years of her life. He was a selfless braille transcriber, well known to the librarians at the Library of Congress for helping many blind college and high-school students for most of his adult life. I miss him.
