Donald W. Bernard
November 5, 1955 - March 27, 2018
Donald “Don” Wayne Bernard, 62, passed away at his residence on March 27th 2018. He was Born in Portland, OR. He graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School in Vancouver, WA in 1973. He served in the United States Army. He was a master electrician, life long member of the National Rifle Association, and loved to fish.”
Don resided with his Wife Georgina "Georgie" Faye Donahue Bernard in Vancouver, WA. He was the Founder and President of a successful commercial refrigeration business. Don's skills regarding mechanical and technical engineering were unparalleled.
Don is survived by his wife, Georgie; daughter, Tonni Cone (Ryan); sister, Bobbi Moon, brother David Bernard; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in Death by his son, Christopher Bernard and his parents Fredrick Donald Bernard and Lois Berniece Bernard.
In honoring Don's request, there will not be a public memorial service, services and internment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142
