Dear Sheryl and Family
I am so sorry for your loss and for what you are going through. Although I never met Norma, I know from being friends with Sheryl that she must've been an amazing person to have such a wonderful daughter. May Norma rest in peace and those she left behind hopefully find peace soon too. You are in my thoughts, Sheryl. Much love to you and your family.

Norma Exley was a proud, beautiful, compassionate, funny and charming woman. She worked very hard all her life for very little recognition - although everyone she knew was touched by her love and astounded by her energy, wit and diligence.
A spirited woman, often disappointed, she continued to be the fiercely independent, noble person she expected herself to be - no matter what life threw at her. I more than suspect she had the rare valor not only to take on her own demons, but also those of people whom she loved and sustained. I respect her deeply.
I should have told her that - I hope she knew it anyway - but now I can't and am left to stupidly type my anonymous tribute. She was one of those persons the world should mourn, as we can't afford to lose such brave, good souls who make existence better, brighter, kinder.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed working with Norma and hearing stories about the old days. She issued me several parking tickets over the years:) Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Please accept the sympathy and condolences from the Snyder family. Personally, Norma could always be trusted for a laugh and a wry comment; she was the best at letting us all know to lighten up a bit and smell the roses. I will miss her always.

As a daughter and a mother I know how important the role of mom is. Having never met you or your family, I am able to feel the sadness that you must have felt leaving your child, the heartbreak that your child feels not having you near and missing your touch, and the incredible sadness that your family and friends must feel at this time. I pray that the Lord has welcomed you into his kingdom with open arms while drying your tears, and that your family finds the comfort they need at this time.

This makes my heart so very sad. The world is a darker place without wacky, funny and kind "Stormy Normy". What great memories I have of a one - in - a - million woman.
