Linda Rae Chimenti (Strain), 65, of Vancouver Washington, passed away on May 23 in Vancouver Washington.
Linda was born in Longview, WA to Robert and Delores Strain on May 18 1953. She went to high school at Fort Vancouver and graduated in 1971. She worked at The Department of Social and Health Services and Child Protective Services until 2011.
She loved her garden and was an excellent if experimental cook. She was happy reading and watching old movies. One of her favorite things to do was go to the drag races.
Linda is survived by her significant other Dale Nalley of Vancouver, WA.
Her children Amy Chimenti of Zoetermeer, The Netherlands and Alan Chimenti of Woodland, WA. Her grandchildren Everly Chimenti of Woodland, WA and Kaylee de Roo of Zoetermeer, The Netherlands.
Parents Robert and Delores Strain of Spokane, WA. Brother Steven Strain of Wenatchee, WA. Sisters Jevelyn Carter and Lori Fritz both of Vancouver, WA. Niece Jennifer Robeck of Vancouver, WA. Nephews Dylan Carter of Woodland, WA and Justin Carter of Vancouver, WA.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and loved ones. She left us far to soon. She will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
