Obituary of Wilma Faye Voller

WILMA "TUDY" VOLLER April 2, 1934 ~ May 19, 2015 With her family by her side, Wilma "Tudy" Voller passed away on Tues., May 19, 2015, in Vancouver, WA. She was born in Eugene, OR on April 2, 1934 and grew up in Yakima, WA, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Bob Voller. When they first married, Tudy worked at the student bookstore at WSU in Pullman, WA, while Bob attended college. They also lived in Pennsylvania and California before settling in Vancouver, WA in 1966 where they raised their four children. After her kids were grown, Tudy worked for many years for the Vancouver School District as a teacher's aide at Marshall Elementary School. Even though she enjoyed her wonderful travels with Bob, she always said she was glad to be home. Tudy was an extraordinary wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a wonderful daughter and sister. Family and home were everything to her. Tudy is survived by Bob, her husband of 61 years; her children, Kenneth Voller (Penny), David Voller, Janet Kubicsek (Richard), and Lynda Simonton (Dale); her "perfect" grandchildren, Jeff Sheldon, Erik Kubicsek, Mathew Simonton, and Kylie Simonton; as well as her caring and loving sisters, Lois, Joanne, and Joyce. She joins her parents; her brother, Gordon; and her beloved grandson, Robbie Sheldon. There will be a private family interment followed by a Celebration of Life Open House on Sat., May 30, 2015, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Cedar Heights Condominium in Vancouver. Tudy was a longtime supporter of our local Humane Society.
