Obituary of Leona May Anderson
Leona May Anderson
Vancouver, Washington
May 7, 1930 ~ February 10, 2019
Leona May Anderson was born in Brookfield, Missouri on May 7th, 1930. She moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1941, where she resided the rest of her days, and later passed on February 10th, 2019 due to illness. Leona leaves behind her son Russell Thomas, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, as well as countless family and friends. She is now reunited with her son Gayle Thomas, her sister Wilma Snelson, and her late husband Mel Anderson, in the golden gates of heaven.
Leona was a beautiful person who loved life. She enjoyed arts, crafts, painting, gardening, and helping others. She also enjoyed spending time studying the history of her lineage. Today and the days forward we will hold our memories of her near and dear to our hearts. Your presence we miss, memory we treasure, loving you always, and forgetting you never. May the sun shine down, the flowers bloom, and the birds sing in her honor.
