John was a great Man. He was always true to his word. He lived out the promise he made to his wife, Gisela, when he said that he would love, honor, and cherish her,"till death due us part". He showed the world what it meant to keep that promise. He was a kind, loving and thoughful man that taught us all to be better human beings. I am not sure I ever heard him speak an unkind word about anyone. The world is a better place for having him in it, and he will be sorely missed.

I am so glad to have known John Cunningham! When I first met my husband Hans, one of Gisela's younger brothers and John's brother-in-law, all he talked about was Hermosa Beach and the wonderful Summers he spent in Southern Cali with the Cunningham's!.. John was warm, kind, loving, a great appreciator of art and music...he was intelligent and oh so much fun... We love him!

I am heartbroken to learn today that my cousin John has passed away. He was very supportive when I needed support during my husband's hospitalization in Portland. And now he is gone, and I am so sad.
I can only imagine the sadness that Gisela and Kyle (and his brothers) are feeling. My heart goes out to John's family, and I pray that the LORD is comforting them. cg
