Phyllis had already been at the distribution center for Nordstrom in Portland for a good while when I joined and met her, 30 years ago, in 1989. What a knowledgeable and considerate person. After leaving to join Ken on the Washington coast, they returned and I saw more of Phyllis again in the past 10 years when it turned out she worked at the same financial office my husband and I went to. I really enjoyed meeting up with Phyllis over the past several years. We went to on another's' homes but usually met for lunch nearby when I had the day off and we'd visit at eateries by her work. I'm grateful that Phyllis initiated our being in touch. Her kindness will not be forgotten. It was a blessing to spend time with Phyllis. She'd proudly speak of the goings on with her kids and Ken. I'm very sorry for the loss and pray for Ken and her daughter and sons to be ever at peace with her committed love of them.
