Obituary of Peter Kiran David Mattson

PETER KIRAN DAVID MATTSON January 3rd, 1998 ~ June 15th, 2015 Peter's journey began January 3rd, 1998. We searched the world for Peter and adopted him aged 10 months old from the Missions to the Nation Orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India. Peter had a way of inspiring, and bringing light and hope to everyone he met and everyone that knew him. He made friends easily and had many in all corners of the world. Peter was a born leader, participating in Boy Scouts where he earned his Eagle at age 13, Wrestling at Prairie High School where he lettered all three years, and DECA where he lettered twice. He was a much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Survived by his parents, Susan and Allan Mattson and brother, Alexander Mattson of Battle Ground, WA; Grandfather, Peter Glausiuss of Tauranga New Zealand; Aunts and Uncles, Jane and Joseph Thomas of Nelson New Zealand, and Erik and Betty Mattson of Hockinson WA; Cousins, Annabella and Elliot Thomas, and Jonathan and Michael Mattson, and Brad Geistlinger. He was preceded in death by Grandma, Faye Glausiuss of New Zealand; Nanna, Laine Mattson of Hockinson, WA; and Uncle, Otto Mattson of Seattle, WA. A Celebration of Life service is set to be held on Saturday July 11th at 2:00p.m. at Battle Ground High school. All who loved and knew Peter are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring a photo of Peter as they knew him.
