Michael Clarence Murphy, 63, of Brush Prairie, WA

Passed away on September 18, 2019

Michael Clarence Murphy Senior, passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Washington from complications due to cancer. He was almost 64.

Michael is preceeded in death by his wife Shirley Murphy (Wade) of Vancouver, Washington and his mother Joyce Lemaster (Patton) of Seattle, Washington.

He is survived by his brothers

Roger Murphy (Linda) of Moses Lake, Washington
Kenneth Murphy (Sally) of Pasco, Washington
And sister Tina Murphy of Seattle, Washington
He is also survived by his children and step children

He leaves behind thirty-six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and counting.

He was loved by everyone and leaves behind a name well known by anyone that ever met him.

Michael was born on October 7, 1955 in Camp Pendleton, California to Joyce Lemaster and Richard Murphy. He married Shirley Wade welcoming her family as his own. Michael was a talented skilled laborer specializing in remodeling. He was a dedicated individual who loved the outdoors and who was passionate about family even if they weren't blood.

Michael Served in the US Navy in his younger years and received a national defense service metal and honorable discharge for his time spent.

A funeral is scheduled at Willamette National Cemetery on October 2, 2019 at 2:30pm at 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd Portland, Oregon 97086-6937.

A Celebration of life and spreading of ashes will happen in July 2020 at Big Lagoon County Park, California. More information to come later.
