Diana Lee Amos, 75, passed away on Sunday Jan. 23, in Vancouver, WA. Diana was born July 18, 1946, in Richland, WA, to Ed & MaryLou Blick. She married Harold Amos, on her birthdate of July 18 in 1970. They have one son Brian.
Diana was an avid reader, loved her ceramics, pottery and she and Harold enjoyed many travels and meeting many new friends along the way. Diana, after moving to Portland, worked in the lumber industry where she met and married Harold. She was always ready to volunteer for Brian's school activities among other interests. At the age of 45 she went back to school, ended up being her class president and became a Certified Medical Assistant. She then worked as a CMA & office manager for a neurologist. She enjoyed volunteer work putting in many hours at Hospitals as well as the Red Cross.
She is survived by husband, Harold of Vancouver, WA; son, Brian of Milwaukie, OR; brother, Michael Blick and his wife Rebecca Blick of Battle Ground, WA; nephews Edward Blick and his wife Michelle Blick of Vancouver, WA & Andrew Blick and his children Ellen and Ruben of Bellingham, WA. She is preceded in death by her brother Ronald.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her memory to St Judes Children's Research Hospital.
At her request there will be a private family service for her in the celebration of her life. She will be greatly missed.
