Obituary of Kathryn Ann Leonetti

thryn Ann Leonetti, beloved mother and wonderful friend, passed away Friday, March 25th. She was surrounded by family and friends at her home in Vancouver, Washington. Kathy was born on April 14, 1943, to Ervin and Olga Winge in Clarkfield Minnesota. She graduated from Hudson's Bay High School. Kathy loved working in an office, she began her working career at Tempo Furniture in Portland, OR. Then moved onto the Washington State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation where she served for over 30 years. After retiring in 2004 Kathy enjoyed redecorating her home, walking, water aerobics, tai chi and spending time with friends, neighbors and family. She enjoyed vacations and weekend getaways to the Oregon coast where she relished in sharing stories, and laughing her trademark laugh. Her quick wit, sympathetic ear, and kindness drew people to her. Kathy was compassionate, caring and never missed an opportunity to help those around her. A voracious reader, Kathy will be fondly remembered as always having a crime mystery within arm’s length. Kathy is survived by her sister Dolores Nelson; her sons Richard Leonetti and Joseph Leonetti; her daughter Gina Leonetti; her grandchildren; Adam, Avalon, Sara, Quinten, Zaven & Ellis as well as her great-grandchildren; Amelia and Tegan.
