Collice M. Watts ~ 73
Vancouver, Washington
August 17,1942 ~ November 9,2015
On the evening of Nov 9th, 2015 while surrounded by her family and loved ones, Collice Watts of Vancouver, WA passed away at the age of 73.
Collice was born in Longview, WA and spent time in Long Beach, WA and Kalispell, MT before settling in to make Vancouver her long term home. She remembered her times there fondly and with a warm heart.
A long time career woman, Collice worked for the telephone company PTI/CenturyTel for 42 years before retiring. However, her greatest joy was her role as a parent. She is a mother of two and opened her home to nearly 100 foster children over the years, several of whom stayed in contact with her.
She is survived by her son, Craig; her daughter, Heather; her sister, Pam; and her long time best friend, Leslie. She was a special woman who loved and was loved until the very end.
It was Collice’s wish to be remembered with happiness and joy rather than mourning. In honor of her wishes a wake will be held in lieu of traditional funeral services for those who wish to pay their respects or share a fond memory.
The wake will be 12:00pm-3:00pm Saturday November 21st, 2015 at
