Leslie Strobel ~ 89
Beaverton, Oregon
March 31, 1926 ~ November 11, 2015
Leslie Strobel was taken to heaven on Veterans Day, November 11, 2015. This seams fitting for a man that was a proud 25 year Veteran of the US Air Force. Les served during the Korean War, WW II and the Vietnam Nam War.
Les was born in Chehalis, WA on March 31, 1926. He was adopted by the Strobel family as an infant after a logging incident claimed his fathers life.
Besides his service to our country, one of his proudest moments was marrying his beloved Virginia. They had over 25 years of love and devotion. His eyes sparkled whenever she entered a room.
Les leaves behind his wife Virginia, his son Ed (Lynn) Strobel, grandchildren Trevor (Emme) Strobel, Katie Strobel and Max Strobel. His daughter Shelly (Don) Bulloch, grandchildren Alecia, Jay and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Marcella Strobel and Linda Lawyer.
Les also dearly loved and valued the care, love and friendship from his extended family. Especially Annie Lee and Joanie
