Obituary of Thomas Steven Seger

Thomas Steven Seger ~ Portland, Oregon April 10, 1951 ~ September 13, 2015 Thomas Steven Seger, of Portland, OR passed away on September 13, 2015 at his home in Vancouver, WA, at the age of 64. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing. Tom graduated from Jackson High School, served in the US Marine Corp, and graduated from Portland State University, majoring in Economics. He worked as a machinist for the Portland Public School District, was a member of the machinists union and was an avid river rafter. Tom is survived by his wife and life partner of 35 years, Gayle Jordan, her children Jason and Tara and granddaughter Gracie; by his mother Mary Ellen Seger, brothers Jim and David Seger, sister Kara Helgeson, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lowell W. Seger and birth mother Gloria Knox. There will be a Celebration of Life held for Tom at a later date.
